Easy vegan and a healthier option to an all time classic: Flavored milk. Enjoy fruity strawberry, rich and bold cocoa and distinct matcha flavor.
Today’s recipe is for anyone who is eating vegan, doesn’t drink normal milk or just wants to live a healthier lifestyle. I made for you three easy ways how to make your own flavored almond milk right at home.
Imagine, next time you prepare your morning granola or oats, instead of plain milk, you use cocoa flavored one. Suddenly, plain oats become as good as Sunday pancakes. And how about using the milk to dip cookies in it? Yum!
Cocoa milk is an amazing option for everyone that needs their daily dose of chocolate, strawberry one will take you straight back to your childhood and matcha is like a grown-up version of this treat. Plus it has a nice energy kick to it (and all those antioxidants!).
matcha flavor is a grown-up version that’s going to boost your energy level
Plus, I’m also pretty sure that your kid will love these! Try and refer back ;).
I personally love the strawberry flavor, even though I love love love chocolate and matcha is my not-so-guilty pleasure. But the strawberry flavor tastes to nice and fresh! It also reminded me of my childhood, I used to drink plenty of milkshakes when I was younger (note: those unhealthy sugary ones). When I get back in my thoughts to that period I also realize how insane it was to consume these things on a daily basis, such a crazy amount of sugar! Not because of my weight (but to be honest in that time that was what I was the most concerned about), but because of how addicted to sugar I’ve become.
Ahh, sweet sugar!
Sugar is a drug and for me personally it took a long time until I gained my control back over the cravings. And even though, sometimes these old habits creep in. But it doesn’t mean that I cut out sugars all together. Maple syrup, honey and coconut sugar is all sugars and I like to eat them occasionally. But only because I know that they’re fine with my body and don’t turn me into I-need-to-eat-everything kind of monster.

#EndOfRant. Take it just as a side note to why you don’t encounter any classic sugars in my recipes. But now, let’s look at how to make the Almond Milk, Three Ways!
